Liberty tops CV.

The Mountaineers had three 2-run innings to pick up a 7-3 NTL West softball win over CV Monday.
Maddie York, Rachel Strange and Mariah Berguson each went 2-for-4 on the day to lead Liberty with Strange and Berguson belting doubles. York and Berguson added two RBI each while Strange had one.
Maddy Wise and Kortney Powlison both went 1-for-4 with an RBI also for Liberty as Nikki McCaslin was the winning pitcher.
MiKaylah Andrews went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI to lead CV while Renee Farman also went 2-for-3. Courtney Schauer went 2-for-4 while Julie Brubaker and Cheyenne Youse both went 1-for-3.
Shanelle Ianson was the losing pitcher.
Liberty (5-10) will host Galeton today and Williamson Wednesday.
