Brooke Kohler pitched a four hit shutout as Wellsboro beat Troy 6-0 in non-league softball action Wednesday.
Kohler had six strikeouts and one walk in the win.
Sarah Ingerick went 2-for-3 with an RBI to lead the Hornets at the plate while Jordan Butters had a double with an RBI. Paige Carr was 1-for-2 with 2-RBI while Alexa Singer, Jenny Young and Peyton Wilson also had hits.
Kayla Schucker, Taylor Murray, Kelsey Bristol and Taylor Johnston had the four Troy hits.
Schucker started and earns the loss while Jerilyn Ross and Bethany Manley also saw time in the circle. They combined for three strikeouts and five walks.
Wellsboro (12-5) will travel to South Williamsport today and host Coudersport Friday. Troy will host Wyalusing today for the NTL East title.
Koryn Wickwire and Mackenzie Roof had three hits each to lead the Knights to a win in their regular season finale.
Roof added four runs while Koryn Wickwire scored twice.
Sam Schoonover, Laci Manning and Alysha Grimes had two hits each for Towanda while Alaina Wickwire and Kelsey McNeal also had hits.
Alaina Wickwire scored twice while Schoonover and Manning each scored once.
Alaina Wickwire earned the win striking out three with no walks.
Kayla Ward had two hits with a run scored to lead Canton while Caitlin McFall also had two hits.
Makenzey Route and Emily Ambruch had hits with Emily Jennings and Ambruch scoring.
Kellsy Ross scored the loss, striking out four with two walks.
Towanda finishes the season 12-7.
Cierra Holland went 4-for-4 with two doubles, two runs and 2-RBI as the Rams picked up an NTL East softball win Wednesday.
Ally DeVoir (2-for-4), Kasey DeVoir (2-for-4) and Erin Canfield (2-for-2) also had multiple hits in the game. Ally DeVoir's include a double and two runs, Kasey DeVoir had a run and RBI while Canfield crossed home three times.
Arielle Kneller, Mackenzie Martin and Paighton Martin also had hits. Paighton Martin added 3-RBI and a run scored while MacKenzie Martin and Kneller also scored.
Emily Faulkner earned the win, striking out one while allowing four hits, two runs and one walk.
Maria Servedio, Rachel Hurley, Shelby Coolbaugh and Kelsey Young had the four Sayre hits with Servedio and Kaitlyn Tappan scoring the runs.
Kristyn Tappan earned the loss.
Wyalusing will travel to Troy today with a 4:30 p.m. start. The winner takes the NTL East title.

Mackenzie Hafer led the Wildcats, going 5-for-5 with two doubles, two runs and an RBI while Rica Dimon (2-for-3), Jensen Dunkling (2-for-5), Christin Dunkling (2-for-3), Kassandra Winters (2-for-4) and Morgan Westbrook (2-for-4) also had multiple hits in the game.
Dimon added an RBI and two runs scored, Jensen Dunkling had two runs, Christin Dunkling's included a double, 2-RBI and a run scored, Winters' included a home run, three runs and an RBI while Westbrook's include a double and tow runs scored.
Mackenzie Warner, Katelyn Serfass, Morgan Peterson and Haley Priester had one hit each. Peterson added a run scored and an RBI while Serfass and Priester also knocked in runs.
Serfass earns the win, striking out five while allowing seven hits, two walks and three earned runs.
