LERAYSVILLE - For the second time this season the Wellsboro softball team rallied from a four-run deficit to beat the Northeast Bradford Panthers.
The Green Hornets trailed 4-0 early, but came back for a 6-5 win in 10 innings on Thursday afternoon.
Down 4-1 entering the seventh inning Darci Warriner reached on an error and Baylea Lehman and Jenny Young each singled.
After a groundout, down 4-2 with runners on second and third Sarah Ingerick came through with a two-run single to tie the game.
The game remained tied into the 10th inning. In the top of the 10th Peyton Wilson started on second for the international tiebreaker rule. Jordan Butters' fly out moved Wilson to third and after Warriner walked and stole second there were runners on second and third. After a fly-out Young hit a ground ball that resulted in an error allowing both Wilson and Warriner to score.
Young had two hits and scored a run for Wellsboro and Alyssa Yungwirth had a hit and an RBI.
Ingerick had a hit and two RBI and Alexa Singer had two hits, with a double, and a run scored.
Paige Carr had a hit and Wilson had a hit and scored a run. Warriner scored two runs and Lehman had a hit and scored a run.
Singer struck out five for Wellsboro on the mound.
Maddy Johnson helped get NEB off to the fast start, singling and stealing second and scoring in the first and hitting a 3-run home run in the second.
Johnson had three hits, a home run, two runs scored and three RBI and Gabby Slater had two hits and two RBI.
Annie Williams had a hit, a run and an RBI and Danielle Moore had two hits, with a double and a run scored.
Katie Boardman had a hit and Shelby Park had a hit and scored a run, with an RBI.
Slater struck out five on the mound for NEB.
The Warriors picked up the NTL win on Thursday with Emma Durst striking out three on the mound.
Sarah Bates had a double and Kendra Colegrove had two hits, while Sam Herrington had two hits, with a double.
Makayla Butz had two hits and Andi Regalbuto had a double.
Hannah Fitzmartin had a double for Williamson. Bates, Durst, Harrington and Regalbuto each scored two runs, Colegrove scored three times and Butz, Fitzmartin and Megan Wyble scored runs. Bates, Herrington, Regalbuto and Fitzmartin drove in runs for the Warriors.
Madi Doss had three hits for Towanda and scored three times, with an RBI and Mackenzie Roof had a hit and scored three runs.
Justine Vargason had a hit and an RBI, with a run scored and Sam Peachey had a double and an RBI.
Rachael Bair had two hits and scored a run, while driving in a run.
Maggie Falsey scored a run and Larisa Terry had an RBI.
The Trojans scored five runs in the third and five more in the fourth on their way to the win.
Kelsey Bristol had two hits and scored two runs and Marissa Jarrel had a hit and scored a run for Troy.
Faith Ceely had a hit and scored two runs and Brooke Mattocks had a hit and scored two runs.
Vanessa Watson had a hit and scored a run, Jessica Fritsch had a double and scored a run and Brooke Losey-Root scored a run.
Kerrigan Hoffman threw a one-hit shutout for Troy, striking out six and walking one.
Kelsey Griffin had Canton's hit.
Kayla Ward and Griffin struck out three for the Warriors.
Troy is at Liberty on Monday.
