Athens freshman Emma Adams had a walk-off ground out in the 10th inning to lead the Wildcats past Canton 7-6.
Adams had three hits, with a double and a run scored. She has six hits in her first two varsity games.
Kaitlyn Testen had three hits and scored a run and Reagan Lynch had three hits.
Morgan Ferguson scored a run and Aubrey Allen had two hits and scored a run.
Lexi Morley had a hit, two RBI and a run scored and Hannah Reid had two hits and scored two runs.
Haleigh Macik had two hits and two RBI, one of her hits was a triple, and Makaylah DeKay had a hit.
Adams struck out four in four innings and Allen struck out five in six innings.
Brooke Ward had three hits, with a triple, and scored three runs for Canton and Lauren Watkins had a triple and two RBI.
Maggy Machmer had a hit and an RBI and pitched the complete game, striking out six, while Evelyn Katona had two doubles and scored two runs.
Lacey Castle had an RBI. Joslyn Spencer scored a run and Hailey Wesneski had a hit and an RBI.
The Crusaders pounded out 23 hits, with every player getting a hit, as they beat Newfield 26-0.
Alivia Clark and Isabel Milazzo combined on a two-hit shutout, striking out 10 between them in the win.
