The Athens Wildcats scored seven runs in the first two innings in a 12-1 win over Troy in six innings.
Hannah Reid was 4-for-4 with four runs scored and two doubles and Emma Adams was 3-for-4 with three runs scored and an RBI for Athens.
Aubrey Allen had two hits, with a double, four RBI and three runs scored and Lexi Morley had a hit and scored a run.
Kaitlyn Testen had two hits, an RBI and a run scored and Hayleigh Macik had a double and two RBI.
Allen had a three-hitter, striking out four and walking none for Athens.
Vanessa Watson, Roxanne Kingsley and Erika Johnston had hits for Troy and Johnston scored their run.
