Wellsboro's Alyssa Yungwirth was unhittable on Monday night, throwing a no-hitter and striking out 13 in a 4-0 win over Wyalusing.
It's the first time in Jack Loomis' 15 years coaching the Rams that Wyalusing has been no-hit.
Sarah Ingerick had two hits with an RBI for Wellsboro, and Brianne Keane had two hits and scored a run.
Sydney Tremper had a hit and scored a run, and Alexa Singer had a hit and an RBI, while Yungwirth had a hit and scored two runs.
Kyleigh Ward struck out two on the mound for Wyalusing.
The Rams aren't in action again until Saturday when they play in a tournament at Tunkhannock.
WAVERLY, N.Y. -- The Waverly softball team bounced back from a loss to Notre Dame earlier this year with a 6-5 win over the Crusaders on Monday.
Waverly scored three times in the bottom of the seventh to rally for the win.
Down 5-3 in the seventh, Shailei Kraft and Kendra Ellers each walked, before Madison Klossner delivers a two-run double to tie the game.
With two outs, Taylor Nicholas drove in Klossner for the game-winning run.
Kraft had two hits, with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored, and Zoe Mennig had three hits.
Wendi Hammond had a hit and scored a run, and Kendra Ellers had a hit, an RBI and a run scored.
Madison Klossner had a double, an RBI and a run scored, and Lyndsey Moore had a double for Waverly, while Nicholas had a hit and the winning RBI.
Hammond struck out two and allowed nine hits and five runs, none earned, in the win.
Mackenzie Mahajan had two hits and two RBI for Notre Dame and Alivia Clark had a hit.
Izzy Milazzo had a hit and Morgan Cox had two hits and scored a run.

Towanda scored three runs in the sixth and three in the seventh to rally for the win.
"They scrapped to get the hits in the fifth and sixth innings," Towanda coach Stan Siberski said. "It was a big confidence builder for them. I think this will help us a lot going forward."
Casey Hawley struck out two in the win for Towanda.
