Muncy rides hot start to down CV, 8-2.

TURBOTVILLE - Muncy scored all of their eight runs in the first two innings to top Cowanesque Valley, 8-2, in the Class A, District IV semi-finals on Saturday.
For CV, Jenna Romano had two hits, Amaya Walker finished with a double and an RBI, Karmen Short had a hit and a run, and Ashleigh Southard added one hit.
Southard pitched for CV. In six innings of work, she allowed eight runs on seven hits.
Muncy will face Northeast Bradford in the Class A, District IV final on Tuesday at the Mosser Complex in Warrior Run.
