ELKLAND - Williamson edged out their Northern Tioga rivals Cowanesque Valley 3-2 in NTL softball action Tuesday.
Makayla Butz went 2-for-3 with a double, RBI and run scored to lead the Warriors while Emilyee Yusko, Emma Durst, Kendra Colegrove and Kamryn Miller also had hits.
Miller had an RBI and a run scored while Colegrove also crossed home.
Yusko was strong in the circle, striking out nine while allowing four hits and one walk in the win.
Emma McClaren led CV at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
Madison Lee had a hit and run scored for the Indians while Amaya Walker had a double and Brynn Williams crossed home.
Ashleigh Southard scored the loss, striking out six while allowing six hits and one walk.
Savanah Doney threw a five-hit shutout for her 10th victory of the season.
Doney also had a triple at the plate with two RBI and Carmen Bates had three hits, with an RBI. Mackenzie Heater had a double and an RBI and Emily Strange and Liz Williams each had one hit and an RBI. Lauren Smith had an RBI.
Caitlyn Hoffmann started on the mound for Troy and Vanessa Watson finished up on the mound.
Watson had two hits and Hoffmann, Nicole Spalding and Riley McClellan had hits.
Liberty hosts Towanda on Wednesday.
The Crusaders pounded out 18 hits in their IAC softball win Tuesday.
Maura Glovins was 3-for-4 with two doubles, three runs and an RBI for Notre Dame while Jordyn Fargo and Tiyah Moffe both went 3-for-3. Fargo added a double, run scored and 3-RBI.
Mackenzie Maloney (2-for-3), Isabel Milazzo (2-for-3) and Chloe Stemerman (2-for-3) also had multiple hits on the day. Maloney added a run with 3-RBI, Milazzo had a double, run scored and an RBI while Stemerman had two runs and 2-RBI.
Courteney Crater and Taylor VanDine each had a double while Ally Witchtowski also had a hit. Crater scored twice while knocking in one run, VanDine had an RBI while Witchtowski crossed home twice.
Mackenzie Mahajan scored twice and knocked in a run as well.
Moffe got the win, striking out five while allowing one walk, four hits and one earned run on 76 pitches.
Kailee Clymer had two hits, with a double, for Wellsboro, adding two RBI and a run scored.
Sydney Tremper had two hits, with a double, three runs and an RBI and Cathryn Brought had two hits, two RBI and a run scored. Ryann Adams had two hits and scored a run and Brianne Keane had a hit and scored a run.
Hailey Neal had a hit and scored a run and Alyssa Yungwirth had a hit. Yungwirth struck out 10 on the mound.
Gabby Larcom had a double and scored a run for Towanda and Madi Doss also had a double and scored a run. Justine Vargason had a hit and Larisa Terry had two doubles and scored a run, with an RBI.
Cearra McLinko had a double and scored a run and Vanessa Vanderpool had a hit and scored a run and Hannah Chandler scored a run.
Jessie Evans scored the winning running on a fielder's choice off the bat of teammate Olivia Pagano for the North Tier League softball win Tuesday.
Makaya Shadle got win, going all 10 innings for the shutout win.
