The Williamson Warriors were down, but not out late in their softball game against Liberty on Wednesday.
Trailing 7-1 in the bottom of the seventh the Warriors rallied for seven runs in the bottom of the seventh to pick up the victory.
Calli Cody drove in Kelly Sheive for the winning run and Jessica Burrous got the win on the mound, striking out four.
LERAYSVILLE - Tied at four entering the bottom of the sixth the Panthers scored two runs to come away with the victory on Wednesday.
Danielle Moore had a three hit day for the Panthers, with a double, an RBI and a run scored and Annie Williams had two hits, a double and a run scored.
Maddy Johnson had a hit and scored two runs and Bridget Haverly had a hit and an RBI, while Angelia Laudermilch had a hit and a run scored.
Courtney Coleman, Chelsie Souto and Calla Johnson each had hits for NEB and Katie Boardman scored a run.
Souto started on the mound, walked two batters then was relieved by Coleman, who went the distance, striking out two, walking one.
Miranda Peterson had two hits, a double and a run scored for Athens and Mackenzie Hafer had a hit, an RBI and a run scored and Hannah Reid had a double, an RBI and a run scored.

SAYRE - Alexa Singer led the Green Hornets to the victory with her bat and her pitching on Wednesday.
On the mound Singer limited the Redskins to two hits, striking out 11 and walking one.
At the plate Singer had a double and scored the game's only run.
Jordan Butters had a hit and drove in Singer with the wining run and Peyton Wilson and Sarah Ingerick each had hits in the game.
Kassandra Winters and Paige Wampole had hits for Sayre in the game.
Kristyn Tappan pitched for Sayre, striking out six and allowing four hits and five walks.
CANTON - Alaina Wickwire had a 4-for-4 day to lead the Black Knights to a season-opening road win on Wednesday.
Wickwire had an RBI and scored two runs and started on the mound, striking out nine.
Emily Gorman had three hits and scored two runs, with two RBI.
Koryn Wickwire had a pair of hits, four runs scored, a double and two RBI and Mackenzie Roof had two hits and two runs scored.
Sam Schoonover had two hits, a double, three RBI and two runs scored and Laci Manning had a double.
Sarah Dawsey had two RBI and scored two runs and Maggie Falsey had a hit.

"Our pitchers were sharp today," Troy coach Brian Canfield said. "They controlled the game for us. It's good to see both pitchers get off to a good start."
