WYSOX - The Troy softball team scored runs in five of the seven innings on their way to a 9-1 win over Towanda on Monday.
Taylor Johnston had a two-run home run for Troy and Brooke Mattocks had a pair of hits, with three runs scored and a double.
Jerilyn Ross and Kerrigan Hoffman combined for a one-hitter on the mound for the Trojans, striking out 10.
Kelsey Bristol scored a run for Troy and Faith Ceely had a stolen base and scored a run.
Taylor Murray had a double for the Trojans and Brooke Losey-Root had a hit and scored a run.
Marissa Jarrell had a pair of hits for Troy and Eleena Breese scored a run.
Justine Vargason had Towanda's hit and Madi Doss scored their runs.
Casey Hawley started for Towanda, with Vargason pitching in relief.
SAYRE - The Indians scored five runs in the first two innings on their way to the win.
Kayla Schauer had a three hit day, with a double and a run scored for the Indians.

Mackenzie Payne, Jillian Berguson and Delaney Colton each had hits, with Colton driving in a run.
