Junior Brooke Kohler pitched a four-hit shutout to help the Lady Hornets beat Troy, 6-0 Wednesday night.
The game was tied and 0-0 until the 3rd inning when the Lady Hornet offense exploded for 4 runs, and then added 2 more in the 4th to clinch the victory.
Freshman Sarah Ingerick went 2-3 with an RBI to lead the team at the plate while Sophomore Jordan Butters had a double with an RBI. Sophomore Paige Carr was 1-2 with 2 RBI's, and Freshman Alexa Singer, Freshman Jenny Young, and Sophomore Peyton Wilson also had hits.
With the win, the Lady Hornets improve to 12-5 (7-1 NTL West). The team will be back in action on Thursday, May 16 as they travel to South Williamsport.
