Lady Hornets split with NEB

The Wellsboro Middle School Softball team split a pair of games against Northeast Bradford on Saturday, April 2.
The Lady Hornets took the first game 5-1 with a triple from Megan Starkweather and 8 strikeouts from Cathryn Brought in four innings. Northeast Bradford would get the best of Wellsboro in the second game as the won 7-5.
Ryann Adams was also 2-for-4 on the day.
The Middle School girls start the season 1-1 and will travel to take on Cowanesque Valley on Saturday, April 9.
