Young Lady Hornets Drop Pair Of Games To Troy

The Wellsboro Junior High Softball team dropped two games to Troy at home on Monday, April 24.
Troy edged the young Lady Hornets 7-6 in the first game and won 15-0 in game two.
Ady Frantz went 3-3 with a single, double, and a in the park homerun and scored 3 runs, Delaney Morral scored 2 runs, and Kaelyn Peterson scored 1 from a hit by pitch. Mazie Johnson pitched 3 innings allowing 3 hits and had 3 strikeouts, and Lauren kosek pitched 2 innings allowing 4 hits and had 2 strikeouts.
The loss drops Wellsboro to 2-6. The team is back in action on Thursday against Northern Potter.
